On Juli 7th 2025, we had the pleasure of celebrating the anniversary of two institutions that are particularly close to our hearts at E-Lyte: the MEET Battery Research Center at the Universität Münster and the Helmholtz-Institut Münster (HI MS) of Forschungszentrum Jülich.
Why does this mean so much to us? E-Lyte was born out of MEET. Without its strong scientific foundation, the inspiring environment, and the people behind it, our journey would not have been possible.
It was especially meaningful to reconnect with familiar faces who have accompanied and shaped E-Lyte from the very beginning – including Prof. Martin Winter, Adrienne Hammerschmidt, Falko Schappacher, and our earliest supporter, Dr. Gerhard Hörpel.
A highlight of the day was the keynote speech by Nobel Laureate Stan Whittingham, who spoke about the success story of the lithium-ion battery – the very technology that powers all of our work.
Thank you to MEET and HI MS for 15 and 10 years of pioneering work – and for inviting us to be part of such a special day!
